Privacy Policy

Kiddo Studio is made by Photo AI Labs ("we"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Kiddo Studio is meant for parents and guardians; it is not directed at children, and children should not use it themselves.

What we collect

Account: when you sign in with Apple we receive a private Apple user ID and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address.
Child profiles you create: the first name, date of birth and (optionally) gender you enter, so scenes suit the child's age.
Photos you choose: the one or more photos you pick of your child. Location and camera details (EXIF metadata) are removed when the photo is uploaded.
Generated albums: the images we create for you.
Purchases: Apple tells us which credit pack you bought and a transaction ID. We never see your payment details.
Notifications: if you allow them, a device token so we can tell you when an album is ready.

We do not show ads, we do not sell or share your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

How photos are processed

Photo quality checks run on your device. To create an album, the photos you choose are sent over an encrypted connection to our servers (Amazon Web Services, United States) and to our image-generation provider (OpenAI, accessed through OpenRouter), only to produce your images. Your photos are not used by us to train AI models.

Storage and security

Photos and albums are stored privately on Amazon Web Services in the United States and are only reachable through short-lived signed links shown to your account. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Keeping and deleting data

You can delete a child profile, an album, or your whole account at any time in the app (Account → Delete account).
Deleting your account removes your profile, child profiles, photos and albums and revokes Sign in with Apple. Purchase records are kept for up to 60 days for refunds and fraud prevention, then deleted. Anonymous cost totals (no personal data) may be kept for accounting.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your information in the app, or email support@photoailabs.com. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK) you may have additional rights, which we honour for all users.

Children's privacy

Photos of children are uploaded only by their parent or guardian, who confirms they have the right to do so. If you believe a child's information was provided without permission, contact us and we will delete it.
